Carrot juice has very high content of beta-carotene. Beta-carotene is a pro-vitamin A, which turns into vitamin A in the human body.   • 30 g sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 150 g carrots
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 30 g nettles
  • 30 ml of water


  • Cut each carrot lengthwise. In an ovenproof dish, heat olive oil. Add the carrots, season with salt and fry for 1 minute. Then reduce the fire to very low temperature.
  • Add the water, cover and let it simmer for 30 minutes, without stirring and lifting the lid. The carrots will cook in their own juice.
  • Then add nettle leaves and sesame seeds, cook another 2-3 minutes and remove from fire. Allow to cool slightly, stir, and serve.
