While raw, natural milk offers various medical advantages and benefits, the Harvard analyst, Dr. David Ludwig claims that refined and processed milk and many dairy products are a danger to your health thanks to additional sweeteners in it.

As Dr. David Ludwig said in his assessment, which was circulated in the “American Medical Association Pediatrics Journal”, there have been several researches into all the malicious influences of sugar-sweetened refreshments. Extensive intake of sugar contributes to obesity, diabetes, unstable intestines, and many other issues.
While USDA, the American Academy of Pediatrics and different associations are advising against consumption of sugary beverages, the only calorie-containing refreshment they still intensely promote is low-fat milk. Dr. David Ludwig questions the logic behind the proposal of the AAP and USDA on consuming 3 glasses a day.

“This recommendation to drink three cups a day of milk is perhaps the most prevailing advice given to the American public about diet in the last half century. As a result, Americans are consuming billions of gallons of milk a year, presumably under the assumption that their bones would crumble without them,” says Dr. David Ludwig.

Against all the studies, the USDA is still prescribing drinking milk which inadvertently is empowering the use of included sugars, where they shouldn’t. All the studies in a meantime focus on sugary drinks, sodas, artificially sweetened juices, but rarely discuss low-fat milk.

The idea of drinking low-fat milk or chocolate milk conflicts with the idea behind its concept. Instead of being a diet product, the fats in the low-fat milk are essentially being supplemented with hazardous supplements as sugar and artificial sweeteners.

“The worst possible situation is reduced-fat chocolate milk: you take out the fat, it’s less tasty. So to get kids to drink 3 cups a day, you have to put a lot of sugar in it, and you get this sugar-sweetened beverage,” Ludwig says. ”…we can get plenty of calcium from a whole range of foods. On a gram for gram basis, cooked kale has more calcium than milk. Sardines, nuts, seeds, beans, green leafy vegetables are all sources of calcium.”

There are quite enough reasons to evade specific fats as trans-fats and refined polyunsaturated fats from vegetables. Still the proof about the health benefits from the moderate use of immersed fat found in milk, coconut oil, and domesticated animals is rising up to the top.

While immersed fat was loathed for a long time, a 2010 examination circulated in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition claimed that “there is no significant evidence for concluding that dietary saturated fat is associated with an increased risk of heart conditions.”

Furthermore, there are many advantages to drinking full-fat dairy items. In its pure state (crude, natural, and originating from domesticated animals), whole-fat dairy helps to improve the cardiovascular system, regulate diabetes and lower chances for obesity.
